Karl Meyer is founder and chief executive officer of 3PD, a $300 million company that is one of North America's largest focused delivery providers. As such, he has played an instrumental role in making more than 10 million deliveries for a range of retailers, manufacturers and building supply companies. An engineer by training, he began his logistics career on the shipper side, first as a project manager and then as corporate delivery manager for Home Depot. While there, he played an instrumental role in helping Home Depot transition its multi-billion delivery business from an in-house to an outsourced delivery model. He holds a bachelor's degree from Embry-Riddle University.
